a tale of two lovers

met by chance, and instantly infatuated. puppy love if you must. day by day, the crushing grew bigger, stronger, more intense. but that was the boy...what about the girl?

she was an oblivious wallflower, best beseeched to her own knowledge. why is this boy so creepy?

a crush, a crush...what else? let him long for you smile, laughter and embrace. oh young girl, your innocence is an asset.

both are naive, whimsical yet mature. closer and closer they become, but oh the woes of the young man how his chase is leading him nowhere. young girl! young girl! why can you not see his advances? oh the silly boy, i don't think he knows what he's doing. tralala~ i don't think he knows how to court a girl.

what a sad chase. how does this girl not see it? this boy is insane! buying her food and always spending time around her? get it together you mindless dame. oh but what is that? she likes him too? hurrah! hurrah! i do hope this gets good.

a note? what a peculiar note. DO YOU LIKE ME? now that is a straight forward and blunt question. yes! YES! i do, i do like you! the chase is over but a couple? yes, i do think so. oh young love, so innocent and free.

free? haha, not so much. keep this a secret, don't let our families know! i cannot have you over for dinner and go on dates with you but i do hope you still like me the same. are you kidding? it's all about you!

time drags on and happiness continues. one fateful night will change it all. *ring ring* goes the telephone *ring ring* giggles and whispering behind a closed door. please don't let someone walk in. but that didn't happen, oh no, it did not. without a knock, her mother walks in.

roar roar! goes the mother. who is that on the phone!? desperate attempts to hide it ultimately fail. sadness and tears were shed for weeks. woe are the two, they long for each other. but lo and behold, let the months pass by.

strangers once more? how sad, but true. miserable, miserable, how they wish for each other.
